I actually started in Autumn 2021, and I worked on it on and off and took so much time away from it. I eventually completed it, sometime in Spring 2023. I spent roughly 9 months in total working on it. I got stuck a few times, changing the body type from lean and muscular to a big-brawler type, which I'm happier with. I couldn't decide what type of armour to go with, as I had several concepts going on. Eventually, I went with the Japanese Samurai armour style. I have always been so inspired by the beautiful designs. I used a generic template for how their armour was constructed and added my own design. I enjoyed adding different textures to the suit. The mask was also something I was looking forward to creating, as Samurai masks are so distinct, frightening and savage looking! I hope I managed to capture that same essence.
