Claire

I started this in late Spring 2019 and completed it in late Summer 2019. It took roughly 4 months. I made this as a gift for a special friend. We had known each other since 1994, and we had bumped into each other over the many years. In 2019 we reunited properly and I thought it was time I did something nice for her. She used to play the Cello a lot and she loves music so much. There are objects in this scene that are important to her, and so I added them in. A few objects on the table are miniature versions of her own possessions that hold great sentimental value. The huge clock isn't based on an existing clock, although she did say that her late Grandmother had one in her house as she was growing up. It also signifies the importance of time to her. Generally, the whole diorama has a very old traditional feel, and I also love Steampunk! So of course, I had plenty of creative liberty here. She loved it by the way and stared at it for ten minutes straight!

Please note: Please do excuse the poor video quality, I was using an old video camera at the time which was low resolution.
