Piscean 2 (Longer)
I've always been more drawn to the modern definition of a Siren. In the world of Gaia, this sea creature is called a Piscean.
They aren't "evil"—they are simply beautiful, unique creatures with their own stories to tell. I suppose beauty is subjective, though? In this case, I've created a double sculpture to show both the human and creature forms.
I wanted her to have scales like armour—varying in shape and size to protect her from the elements. This, coupled with high intelligence, makes her a formidable opponent.
In this video, you'll see me use mixed media to create the accessories and details needed for this model. I also use a mix of traditional and power tools to help manage my physical energy—it makes the process much more accessible for me!
Materials used: Apoxie Sculpt, Super Sculpey Firm, Vellum tracing paper, Galvanised steel wire, Super Glue, PVA Glue, and Grey Primer.
