Work in progress - Part Ten
So, I finally finished the sculpture. This character has many names, and one of those names is 'Bábos,' which is Hungarian for a puppeteer, a puppet maker. It's been a real difficult journey making this. I stumbled across many different problems, but I think I got there in the end.
I had a lot of kind comments regarding the wings and how they look like real skin and how the translucency allowed light to pass through them. However, I had to sacrifice that effect because I had to coat it with grey primer. The reason for this is I'm hoping to mould it and cast it one day. So, this is essential to get it sealed with primer. However, now that it's grey, you can actually see the textures in the wings, allowing you to see all the detail that I created.
Thank you all so much for your support during this journey. It means a lot to me. Take care and stay awesome.
