Work in progress - Part Five
Here’s a big update for you! I’ve had to make a number of changes since my last update. Currently in my city, the weather is stupidly hot. So it’s slowed down my progress that much more which is annoying. So here are the results of what I’ve done in that time. It doesn’t look much at all, but it’s something!
So I’ve had to make a few changes here and there. In the last update, I remember looking at it from a distance, and thinking to myself, ‘Oh man, this doesn’t look right!’ It looked far too much out of sorts. The torso was now looking far too scrunched up because the legs are long and the arms were too short, and the horns were too thick.
So I went back in and changed all that.
I cut the arms off at the biceps and triceps area and then made them longer. I did the same for the torso
Then I filled it in the gaps of the arms and torso area. I didn’t focus on making it look good at this time. I just needed to fix it at this stage.
I was also unhappy with the horns,
So I now discarded the old horns and made a new shape out of wire. This time they’re longer.
I remade the horns using Sculpey Firm, which I’m now relatively happy with.
I also worked on his middle area, which I gave him a saggy belly and extra ribs.
If you can notice, I haven’t paid too much attention to the details. It’s because some of his body will be covered in a Kimono and hair as well.
I gave him extra long claws, and defined the hands more. I also gave him tusks as well. It’s starting to look like something now.
